In the context of the independence vote and an increasingly engaged Scotland, a group of citizens and government leaders called in the first Art of Hosting training in Scotland. The intention was not to influence the vote but to explore how the raised levels of civic engagement and participation could be sustained beyond the referendum.
Tim took part in the first training event in November 2014 which has lead to 12 projects in multiple sectors. Since then there have been events in Parliament, another training is planned of the summer of 2015 and major engagements in Healthcare are on the horizon. Tim remains engaged in the project as a member of the planning group and supporter of the work.
