Hi Tim,
Thank you for your reflection and insight into how this works for you. I had the same experience during our holiday in Spain. For the first time 3 weeks in one place, no program, no musts, no nothing .... and it took a while for me to accept and adjust to that. But it did give me a lot of clarity and focus. Coming back though I was struck (again) by how easily I lost it ... Now, in my third week of trying to keep up I finally slow down again and refind (that's not proper English is it?) myself and my focus. I dared to let go of a great opportunity and felt relieved. I'm ok even if I don't live up to my own and others' expectations. Pffffff... I try to be milder to myself and enjoy what is there already, in me and around me. Love it!

My coaching clients have taught me that reflection can not be left to chance. It is often what they appreciate about taking an hour out with me. I nudge them into reflection and help them find ways not to leave reflection to chance. They build it into their day with great intention. They report that it is an important element of building resilience for what can be a stressful career; partnering with patients for health.

I love what you're doing here! I'm looking around for some good blogs for people who work within large organisations, and do want some support for their personal mission to change the organisation from within. Thanks Peter! Great to hear from you. Glad you like the blog. I am having a lot of fun creating it. I do have a newsletter but it only goes out once a year in January. You can sign up to the blog on the right of this page by clicking on the RSS feed and that will go direct to yo inbox ... the blogs in general come out once a week on Wednesdays, every now and then there is a week gap if I a travelling or on holiday.
