Thanks for sharing this Tim - I like it as I also believe content attracts attention and invites people to explore more. It's the game of giving and receiving, like in many other aspects of life... I'm just thinking how to share learning from 4 years of AOPL in Croatia for corporates and public adminsutration and announce this year offering so your input helps a lot! Btw, there is a great opportunity, join us in Coatia, AoPL 2017 summer edition....
one moe comment - to attract people outside of our networks we are building partnerships with universities, associations and organisations who believe or have implemented some elements of AoPL/AoH. We are writing articles, speak at conferences and diverse events... we involve pevious participants to engage their contacts and netowrks, sometimes even create discount vouchers which previous participants can gift to friend or colleague...
I love this idea of building partnerships. We are exploring something similar with the community college here. I really like the idea of involving previous participants ...
In Belgium, we are teaming up with a small company, who comes from lean, agile, scrum and the like - and who want to learn more about AoH - seems like that will become a fruitful collaboration: we learn from them, they learn from us.
Great. Are they helping with visibility too?
Last open workshop on Soiocraccy 3.0 we announced through our and their website, at the same time. We split revenue according to how many came through their network and how many through ours. So, double visibility; double network.
Oh yeah. We need this.
Hi Tim, thanks for your video. I have a lot to learn about all this, and it's good to hear your thoughts. Yes, yes, yes to the value of sharing content... I suppose there's a whole art then, to how one does that... yet the basic principle of doing so makes so much sense. Also yes yes yes to reaching beyond one's own circles... I'm currently working with someone who has roots in the Waldorf education world, and that's a whole network of its own. In general I believe that the more we collaborate with one another, the more we can "grow the pie"... so shifting out of scarcity and competition mode, seems to me to be a priority.
It has definitely been a themes of discussions that partnerships is the way to go. Opening up networks to each other - which allows for this moving beyond competition and scarcity that you are talking about. I also think there is a reality that we are in competition in a pretty saturated online space for courses and education ... how do we stand out in the midst of it all? I guess that is the art piece you are referencing - like all art authenticity shines through ...
